This “Guards Red” Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabrio was produced in December of 2006 and sold new in Spain, where it spent all of its life. The current owner acquired it in 2021. This convertible is a prime example of the Carrera 2 model from the 997 generation, which is known for its lightweight construction, high-revving engines, and uncompromised driving feel. Porsche purists often criticized subsequent 911 models for being too big and heavy, but all agreed that the 997 was the last of the classic line of cars.
