Description
Exterior
Let’s start with the car’s color – calling it brown would be unfair, at least to say. BMW named it Sepang Bronze, and to fully appreciate it, you must see the car in the sunshine. But the M4’s most striking feature is its folding roof made from carbon fiber, which makes it both light and sturdy. Thanks to it, this BMW can convert from a coupe-like sports car to a sleek city cruiser at the push of a button.
Other notable details include Xenon headlights at the front, 19-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires on the side, and dual exhausts at the back. And like any other M4, this car has aggressive bumpers, vents in the fenders, and a hood with a bulge in the middle.
Interior
On the inside, the first thing that catches the attention is the seats, which are upholstered in soft brown leather with white stitching. But besides being sporty and supportive, as their look may suggest, they are also very comfortable. Once seated, you’ll find yourself behind the BMW’s characteristic three-spoke steering wheel and a dashboard with a simple gauge arrangement. This includes a speedometer that ends at 330 km/h mark, a rev counter that goes up to 8000 RPM and gauges for the fuel level and engine temperature. And if you don’t want to look down during hard cornering, there’s a Head-Up display showing all the vital information on the windscreen.
Mechanics
Stunning looks aside, every BMW has to be an Ultimate Driving Machine. And this M4 has several aces up its sleeve to help it live up to these expectations. For a start, a spectacular twin-turbocharged straight-six engine is under the hood, developing reassuring 450 horsepower. The power goes to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and an electronically-controlled limited-slip differential.
With all that grunt and technology, the M4 will easily catch 100 km/h in approximately 4 seconds and speed up to 250 km/h. And it would probably go much faster if it weren’t for the electronic limiter. Lastly, to help keep everything under control at speed, the car is fitted with stiffened suspension and enormous brakes.
Vehicle’s history
We’ll wrap up with a few words about the BMW M4’s current condition, which the seller describes as immaculate. And judging by the photos and the provided video, it definitely is, with no visible damage to report. The car was regularly serviced and inspected by an authorized BMW dealer, with the last service being done in June 2022.
The seller says the car, which is currently in Belgium, wasn’t used on track nor involved in any accidents, with a matching CarVertical Vehicle History Report to confirm this.
