Description
Car History
For generations of sports car lovers who grew up in the 60s and 70s, the Alpine name is synonymous with rally championships, strong performance, and unmatched street presence. Even though Alpine used the standard Renault components, the cars had almost supercar appeal and were enthusiast favorites for their looks and driving dynamics. But in the early ’90s, the brand went away, almost forgotten by all but the most hard-core fans. Fortunately, Renault understood just how significant the potential of this legendary name really is and invested heavily in a brand-new model with a complete aluminum body, centrally positioned engine, and snappy dual-clutch transmission. Combining the iconic and retro-futuristic looks with the Clio RS engine and bespoke body and suspension settings created the instant classic and possibly the best sports car of the decade. The turbocharged 1.8-liter that sends power to the rear wheels can launch this gorgeous two-seater to a pretty convincing 4.5 seconds 0 to 100 km/h (60 mph) time. However, the numbers don’t do justice to this car. With just over one ton curb weight, the Alpine A110 flies over the curves and handles like a dream. The unmatched driving dynamics are precisely why it is a darling of many magazine reviews.
Interior
Since this model is relatively new and has low mileage, the leather interior is in as-new condition with no signs of wear. Experienced buyers will notice that the optional “GT” seats are present, which is a welcomed addition, as well as some carbon trim pieces for that motorsport look. However, the important thing is the Focal premium audio system, which is a rare option.
Condition
The particular example was delivered new in 2021, and since then, it has covered just over 30,000 km. It is a well-cared-for car that has been used for joy driving, just like it was invented by its constructors. It was never tracked or damaged by two caring owners from new. In fact, the original owner was the commercial director of Alpine Spain. The last service was performed in November of 2023, with the brakes being overhauled just recently in December of 2023. The previous oil change was done in September. This Alpine A110 is still under factory warranty until November 2024, so all maintenance was performed by official service in Spain.
Exterior And Wheels
Painted in white with a very interesting graphic package, this Alpine A110 has a unique appearance with special Alpine-only 18-inch wheels. The body is unmatched without any damages, dings, or scratches, and the tires are in decent condition, with 50% used, according to the seller. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport, and they were manufactured in late 2021.
Documentation
The dealer sells this vehicle with appropriate documentation located in Spain. The CarFax report is clean; no proof of accidents, accident repairs, ownership, or legal problems exist. There are records of regular maintenance, bills of sale, and receipts. This Alpine A110 is still covered by a factory warranty, which is transferable to the next owner.
