Och den resulterande modellen kommer att heta R8.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Audi R8:s f\u00f6rsta generation<\/h2>\n<h3>Utseendet<\/h3>\n<p>Efter flera koncept med liknande namn och form avsl\u00f6jades den f\u00f6rsta generationens Audi R8, med kodnamnet Type 42, p\u00e5 bilsalongen i Paris 2006. <strong>Och trots att de delade plattform och de flesta mekaniska underreden med Lamborgini Gallardo, hade dessa tv\u00e5 bilar inga visuella likheter<\/strong>. Medan den italienska bilen var aggressiv och flashig, hade den tyska en mer subtil och h\u00e5llbar design. Den andra motorn var en likadan 5,2-liters V10, som ursprungligen utvecklades av Audi f\u00f6r att anv\u00e4ndas i Lamborgini Gallardo. Senare tillkom en mer tillf\u00f6rlitlig och l\u00e4ttanv\u00e4nd 7-v\u00e4xlad automatl\u00e5da med dubbelkopplingsteknik. <strong>Alla bilar var utrustade med Audis Quattro fyrhjulsdrivningssystem, vilket s\u00e4kerst\u00e4llde \u00f6verl\u00e4gset grepp under alla v\u00e4derf\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden<\/strong>. Denna konfiguration skulle utm\u00e4rka sig p\u00e5 hala v\u00e4gar, d\u00e4r den kunde utnyttja kraften mer effektivt \u00e4n sina bakhjulsdrivna rivaler.
