Po drugi strani pa je konkurenca tu huda in ni prostora za napake, zlasti za velike igralce. Ali z drugimi besedami, vsak avtomobil, ki se bo pomeril s Ferrarijem, Porschejem ali McLarnom, mora biti popoln. Razen podvozja si je ta avtomobil ve\u010dino sestavnih delov delil z limuzino Audi 80. Od takrat to po\u010dnejo z zmogljivim modelom S in \u0161e bolj ekstremnim modelom RS. Za mnoge so to najbolj\u0161i avtomobili v svojem razredu, saj zlahka preka\u0161ajo tekmece, kot sta BMW ali Mercedes. Niso le hitri, ampak jih je tudi enostavno upravljati v vseh realnih razmerah.<\/p>\n<p>V bistvu so vsi ti avtomobili veliko hitrej\u0161i, kot bi lahko sklepali na njihov videz. Vrhunski model RS6 se na primer ne razlikuje veliko od vstopnega modela z dvolitrskim dizelskim motorjem.<\/p>\n<p>Toda v za\u010detku leta 2000 je Audi \u017eelel v svojo ponudbo dodati pravi \u0161portni superavtomobil. <strong>Osnovna zamisel je bila, da bi dobro preizku\u0161eno mehaniko, vklju\u010dno z motorjem in \u0161tirikolesnim pogonom, prenesli v eleganten in lahek dvosede\u017enik<\/strong>. Eden od njih je Lamborgini, ki je razvijal povsem nov model z imenom Gallardo. Zato so se odlo\u010dili, da bo Audi kot izhodi\u0161\u010de uporabil novo Lambojevo \u0161asijo, mu dal druga\u010dno karoserijo in vgradil svoj pogonski sklop. Nastali model se bo imenoval R8.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Prva generacija Audija R8<\/h2>\n<h3>Videz<\/h3>\n<p>Prva generacija Audija R8 s kodnim imenom Type 42 je bila razkrita na pari\u0161kem avtomobilskem salonu leta 2006, ko je sledilo ve\u010d konceptov s podobnimi imeni in oblikami. <strong>Kljub temu da sta si z Lamborginijevim Gallardom delila platformo in ve\u010dino mehanskih podvozij, pa ta dva avtomobila nista imela nobene vizualne podobnosti<\/strong>. Medtem ko je bil italijanski avtomobil agresiven in kri\u010de\u010d, je bil nem\u0161ki bolj subtilen in vzdr\u017eljiv. Vendar se je R8 povsem razlikoval od preostale Audijeve ponudbe, saj je bila edina podobnost sprednja maska, ki je rahlo spominjala na TT.<\/p>\n<p>To vklju\u010duje nezamenljivo Audijevo re\u0161etko in \u017earomete z LED-trakovi, ki se uporabljajo kot dnevne lu\u010di. <strong>Silhueta R8 z nizko vise\u010dim pokrovom motorja in nagnjenim zadnjim delom je bila odvisna od konfiguracije motorja v sredini<\/strong>. Na bo\u010dni podobi so prevladovali edinstveno oblikovani zra\u010dniki, ki jih je Audi poimenoval bo\u010dne lopatice. Ti so bili lahko pobarvani druga\u010de kot preostali deli avtomobila, kar je bila najbolj priljubljena izbira in je hitro postala za\u0161\u010ditni znak R8. Kasneje, leta 2008, je bila predstavljena razli\u010dica Spyder z zlo\u017eljivo mehko streho. <strong>Ta razli\u010dica je neuradno za\u017eivela v izjemno priljubljenem filmu Iron Mad 2, kjer jo je javnost prvi\u010d vide<\/strong>la. Poleg odsotnosti kovinske strehe Spyder ni imel prepoznavnih stranskih zra\u010dnikov, vrata za gorivo pa so bila prestavljena v ni\u017eji polo\u017eaj. Razen tega sta bila avtomobila prakti\u010dno enaka. R8 je bil ve\u010dinoma izdelan iz aluminija, nekatere karoserijske plo\u0161\u010de pa iz ogljikovih vlaken, kar je pripomoglo k manj\u0161i masi.<\/p>\n<h3>Mehanika<\/h3>\n<p>Ob predstavitvi je imel R8 4,2-litrski motor V8 FSI, izposojen iz takrat aktualne limuzine RS4. Nekatere klju\u010dne zna\u010dilnosti so med drugim vklju\u010devale neposredni vbrizg goriva, spremenljiv \u010dasovni razpored ventilov in dirka\u0161ko suho posodo.  <strong>Tako je motor dosegel 414 konjskih mo\u010di in 430 Nm navora. Z njim je R8 od 0 do 100 pospe\u0161il v pribli\u017eno 4 sekundah in dosegel najve\u010djo hitrost 187 km\/h.<\/strong>. Drugi motor je bil podobno zasnovan 5,2-litrski V10, ki ga je Audi sprva razvil za uporabo v Lamborgini Gallardo. Kasneje je bila dodana zanesljivej\u0161a in enostavnej\u0161a 7-stopenjska samodejna menjalna avtomatika z dvojno sklopko. <strong>Vsi avtomobili so bili opremljeni z Audijevim sistemom \u0161tirikolesnega pogona Quattro, ki je zagotavljal odli\u010den oprijem v vseh vremenskih razmer<\/strong>ah. Tak\u0161na konfiguracija bi bila odli\u010dna na spolzkih cestah, kjer bi lahko u\u010dinkoviteje oddajala mo\u010d kot njegovi tekmeci s pogonom na zadnji kolesi. Toda prenos mo\u010di v R8 je bil mo\u010dno usmerjen proti zadku, zaradi \u010desar se je ob skrajnem pritisku nagibal k pretiranemu krmiljenju. Kljub temu je bilo vozilo zlahka obvladljivo, zato je bilo v hitrih in ostrih ovinkih agilno in natan\u010dno.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Druga generacija modela Audi R8<\/h2>\n<p>Potem ko je bila prva generacija Audijevega superavtomobila na voljo devet let, je bil leta 2015 kon\u010dno predstavljen njegov naslednik. Novi R8 s kodnim imenom 4S je bil popolnoma predelan od temeljev in si je platformo delil z Lamborghinijem Hurac\u00e1nom. Kljub temu se njegova splo\u0161na oblika in dizajn nista bistveno spremenila, kar glede na to, kako dobro je bil sprejet prvotni avtomobil, ni bilo presene\u010denje. Najbolj opazne razlike so bile prepoznavne stranske lopatice, ki so bile zdaj razdeljene na dve polovici. <strong>Tudi tokrat je bil R8 na voljo kot kupe z dvema vratoma ali kabriolet z mehko streho<\/strong>. Medtem ko je karoserija ostala zelo podobna predhodniku, je bilo podvozje precej posodobljeno.
