Z drugimi besedami, avtomobili, ki so jih izdelovali, so bili naravnost grozni in slabo izdelani. Drugi so bili obsojeni na propad zaradi kombinacije smole in slabih poslovnih odlo\u010ditev. To \u0161e ne pomeni, da vsi avtomobili zdaj \u017ee pozabljenih britanskih avtomobilskih proizvajalcev niso bili dobri. Pravzaprav so bili nekateri med njimi resni\u010dno odli\u010dni in imajo \u0161e danes veliko za ponuditi. Eden od njih je nedvomno slavni Triumph TR3 roadster, \u0161e posebej v svoji prenovljeni obliki TR3A. To je eden tistih avtomobilov, ki so utele\u0161enje elegantne lepote in \u010distega vozni\u0161kega navdu\u0161enja.<\/p>\n<h2>Zgodba o modelu Triumph TR3A<\/h2>\n<p>Triumph s svojimi koreninami, ki segajo v 19. stoletje, je eno najstarej\u0161ih imen v industriji.  <strong>Najprej so izdelovali le kolesa, prvi avtomobil pa so iz tovarne odpeljali v dvajsetih letih prej\u0161njega stoletja.<\/strong>  Od takrat njihova vozila hvalijo tako vozniki kot avtomobilski strokovnjaki. Razlog za to je bila kombinacija privla\u010dnega videza, vsakodnevne prakti\u010dnosti in konkuren\u010dnih zmogljivosti po dostopni ceni.  <\/p>\n<p>\u010ceprav je Triumph v preteklih letih izdelal \u0161tevilne zabavne limuzine in kupeje, kot sta Dolomite ali Herald, so najbolj znani njihovi roadsterji. <strong>Za za\u010detek je tu legendarni Spitfire, avtomobil, ki ga ni treba posebej predstavljati<\/strong>. Potem je tu \u0161e dolgotrajna serija TR, katere proizvodnja je trajala tri desetletja in \u0161est generacij avtomobilov. Vse se je za\u010delo s TR2, ki je bil predstavljen leta 1953 in je takoj postal uspe\u0161nica.<\/p>\n<p>Ker je Triumph spoznal njegov potencial, je le dve leti pozneje predstavil njegovega naslednika, model TR3.  <strong>V novem avtomobilu je bilo veliko izbolj\u0161av, ki so odpravile pomanjkljivosti odhajajo\u010dega modela.<\/strong>  To je med drugim vklju\u010devalo u\u010dinkovitej\u0161e zavore in nadgrajeno vzmetenje, kar je omogo\u010dilo \u0161e bolj\u0161o vozno izku\u0161njo. \u010ceprav se je prvi TR3 dobro prodajal, je po nekaj letih postalo jasno, da je njegov slog nekoliko zastarel. Tudi tokrat se je Triumph odlo\u010dil re\u0161iti te\u017eavo z uvedbo posodobljenega modela, ki je bil neuradno znan kot TR3A.  <\/p>\n<h2>Kako je videti Triumph TR3A<\/h2>\n<p>Po pri\u010dakovanjih je bil sve\u017ee prenovljeni TR3A, tako kot TR3, ki ga je nadomestil, \u0161portni avtomobil z odprto streho in dvema vratoma. V mnogih pogledih sta imela ta dva avtomobila podobne, \u010de ne celo enake karoserijske linije, silhuete in zna\u010dilno oblikovana vrata. <strong>Vendar ju lo\u010duje sprednji del, kjer ima TR3A facelift v pravem pomenu besede<\/strong>. To so dosegli z namestitvijo veliko \u0161ir\u0161e re\u0161etke hladilnika in prilagoditvijo okoli\u0161ke karoserije. Rezultat je bil agresivnej\u0161i videz sprednjega dela vozila in posledi\u010dno mogo\u010dna prisotnost na cesti, ki je bila kupcem v\u0161e\u010d. Alternativa tej re\u0161itvi, katere namestitev je bila zamudna, je bila zlo\u017eljiva kapuca ali jeklena trda streha, ki sta bili na voljo. Vendar pa je bil na voljo tudi prilo\u017enostni zadnji sede\u017e, na katerem je lahko sedel tretji potnik. To je pravzaprav klop za sprednjima sede\u017eema, vendar brez prostora za noge pred njima. Namesto tega je oseba sedela na boku, od tod tudi ime <em>prilo\u017enostni<\/em>.  <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Mehanska osnova Triumpha TR3A<\/h2>\n<p>Tako kot prej\u0161nji modeli je tudi TR3A uporabljal \u0161tirivaljni motor, ki ga je izdelalo podjetje Standard, ki je bilo takrat v lasti dru\u017ebe Triumph.  <strong>Ti motorji so bili robustni in zmogljivi zaradi litega \u017eeleza, zamenljivih mokrih vlo\u017ekov in glave OHV.<\/strong>  Izdelan je bil v ve\u010d razli\u010dicah, odvisno od uporabe, pri \u010demer je imel TR3A 2-litrski agregat z mo\u010djo 100 KM. Motor je bil povezan s 4-stopenjskim ro\u010dnim menjalnikom, opcijsko pa je bil na voljo tudi elektri\u010dno aktiviran overdrive. Najprej je tu neodvisno sprednje vzmetenje z dvojnimi vzvodi in vija\u010dnimi vzmetmi.  <strong>Zadaj je sicer bolj obi\u010dajen, s tradicionalno gredjo in listnatimi vzmetmi, vendar je bila gred name\u0161\u010dena nad okvirjem.<\/strong>  Ta nenavadna konfiguracija je zni\u017eala te\u017ei\u0161\u010de in pripomogla k bolj\u0161i stabilnosti zadnjega dela vozila. Nazadnje so bile spredaj zavore, ki so imele namesto bobnov diske in \u010deljusti. Pravzaprav je bil TR3 prvi serijski avtomobil, v katerem je bila uporabljena ta tehnologija.<\/p>\n<p>Vse to, skupaj s 15-pal\u010dnimi kolesi in pnevmatikami z navzkri\u017enim premazom, ki jih je izdelal Pirelli, je pomenilo dvoje. Prvi\u010d, voznik je lahko v ovinku zaviral veliko pozneje zaradi revolucionarnih zavor. <strong>Odzivno vzmetenje pa bi mu omogo\u010dilo, da bi med vo\u017enjo skozi ovinek dosegel ve\u010djo hitrost<\/strong>. Zato je bil Triumph TR3A na dirkali\u0161\u010du ali ovinkastih pode\u017eelskih cestah enako hiter kot zmogljivej\u0161i avtomobili. To je eden od razlogov, zakaj so ti avtomobili \u0161e danes pogost pojav na razli\u010dnih zgodovinskih dirkah.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Triumph TR3 in prilagajanje<\/h2>\n<p>K priljubljenosti TR3 in drugih Triumphovih roadsterjev v tistem \u010dasu je mo\u010dno pripomogla stopnja prilagoditve, ki so jo ponujali. Pri tem so imeli lokalni trgovci ve\u010djo vlogo kot proizvajalec. <strong>Zaradi neposrednega stika s potencialnimi kupci so lahko bolje prepoznali njihove potrebe in \u017eelje<\/strong>. Ker jim je Triumph dal veliko proste roke, so ti mali podjetniki lahko izna\u0161li na\u010dine, kako zadovoljiti individualne potrebe kupcev.
