Cu toate acestea, imediat dup\u0103 lansare, planificatorii de produse Triumph au decis c\u0103 coupe-ul ar fi o completare excelent\u0103 a gamei. \u00cen acela\u0219i timp, compania a demarat programul de curse cu Spitfires modificate cu un top fastback numit GT4.
