Os carros foram razoavelmente bem sucedidos, ganharam v\u00e1rias corridas not\u00e1veis, e tiveram uma pontua\u00e7\u00e3o alta em Le Mans. Eu<strong>A n\u00edvel de interesse, Talbot Lago venceu as 24 Horas de Le Mans em 1950 com um carro solto baseado no chassis T150 e com um motor aumentado.<\/strong>  Entre os propriet\u00e1rios de autom\u00f3veis desportivos, Talbot Lago foi bem recebido porque tinha uma carro\u00e7aria e um motor leves que podiam ser encomendados com at\u00e9 140 cv, empurrando a velocidade m\u00e1xima acima dos 100 mph. A vers\u00e3o SS baseava-se no T150 regular mas era mais exclusiva, cara e mais r\u00e1pida. Os engenheiros do Lago conseguiram extrair at\u00e9 200 hp da cabe\u00e7a Hemi de 6 cilindros de 4,0 litros, o que foi considerado uma quantidade insana de energia. \u00c9 claro que os trav\u00f5es foram melhorados, mas o manual padr\u00e3o de 4 velocidades foi mantido. O pre\u00e7o base do T150 SS foi superior a 78.000 francos que o colocaram directamente contra carros como Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 e Bugatti 57S. No entanto, o n\u00famero real \u00e9 desconhecido; 11 \u00e9 o n\u00famero mais exacto, mas alguns dizem que foi inferior a 10. Havia tamb\u00e9m duas varia\u00e7\u00f5es distintas. Os primeiros carros eram coupes com desenhos de entalhes chamados Coupe Jeankart, depois do cliente que o encomendou dessa forma.
