Er war weder ein rein sportliches Auto wie Alfa Romeo noch einfach und erschwinglich wie Fiat. Er hatte die Eleganz eines Jaguar, die Extravaganz eines Citroen, den Luxus eines Mercedes und den Stil eines ma\u00dfgeschneiderten Brioni-Anzugs. Der Lancia Aurelia, der kurz nach dem Krieg auf den Markt kam, war die perfekte Verk\u00f6rperung dieses Ethos, und der Aurelia B24 Spider, die wohl begehrteste Version, war das Symbol dieser Marke. Hier ist die Geschichte dieses fantastischen Roadsters.<\/p>\n<p>Obwohl Lancia vor dem Krieg zu den luxuri\u00f6sesten italienischen Marken geh\u00f6rte, brachte die Befreiung eine neue Realit\u00e4t f\u00fcr diese Marke. <strong>Der Luxusmarkt war weg, und Italien konnte sich kaum noch Fiat 500 leisten<\/strong>. Lancia war nicht einmal Teil des Marshall-Plans und erhielt nach dem Krieg keine finanzielle Unterst\u00fctzung, wie andere italienische Automobilhersteller. Gianni Lancia befand sich in einer ziemlich verzwickten Situation. Die aktuelle Produktpalette war veraltet, der Inlandsmarkt war schwach, und es gab nicht genug Geld, um v\u00f6llig neue Modelle zu entwickeln. Dank seiner Freundschaft mit Vittorio Jano (dem sp\u00e4teren Ferrari) begann Lancia jedoch mit der Arbeit an einem neuen Modell mit aufregenden Eigenschaften. Lancia war seinerzeit eines der innovativsten Unternehmen, das mit jedem Modell etwas Neues und Revolution\u00e4res einf\u00fchrte. Mit dem neuen Auto sollte es nicht anders sein.<\/p>\n<p>W\u00e4hrend des Krieges arbeitete Vittorio Jano an einer innovativen Motorkonfiguration &#8211; dem V6-Motor, der zu dieser Zeit noch v\u00f6llig unbekannt war. <strong>Der V6-Motor, den er entwickelte, war selbst nach heutigen Ma\u00dfst\u00e4ben ziemlich fortschrittlich<\/strong>. Mit Aluminiumblock und -k\u00f6pfen hatte er einen 60-Grad-Winkel zwischen den Zylinderb\u00e4nken, eine einzelne Nockenwelle und Hemi-Brennkammern, was zu mehr Leistung und h\u00f6heren Drehzahlen beitrug. Die Entwicklung des Motors war Ende der 40er Jahre abgeschlossen, gerade noch rechtzeitig, um in ein neues Lancia-Modell eingebaut zu werden.<\/p>\n<p>Der Lancia Aurelia kam 1950 auf den Markt und verbl\u00fcffte sofort das weltweite Publikum. Er war nicht nur sehr modern gestaltet und der erste Wagen der Welt mit einem V6-Motor, sondern hatte noch einige weitere \u00dcberraschungen in petto. <strong>Er hatte eine halb unabh\u00e4ngige Hinterradaufh\u00e4ngung mit einem hinten montierten Transaxle-Getriebe und innenliegenden Trommelbremsen, um die ungefederten Massen zu reduzieren<\/strong>. Dieses Layout sorgte f\u00fcr eine ideale Gewichtsverteilung, neutrales Handling, hohe Fahrdynamik und serienm\u00e4\u00dfige Radialreifen (eine weitere Weltneuheit). Die ersten Modelle hie\u00dfen B10 und waren alle Limousinen (Berlinas) mit einem 1,8-Liter-V6-Motor und 75 PS. Der Markt reagierte enthusiastisch, und Lancias Gl\u00fccksspiel zahlte sich mit zahlreichen Auftr\u00e4gen aus der ganzen Welt aus. 1951 kam der wundersch\u00f6ne Lancia Aurelia B20 Coupe auf den Markt, der als das erste akkurate Grand Turismo-Modell aller Zeiten bezeichnet wurde. Er hatte einen 2,0-Liter-Motor mit 80 PS, eine niedrigere Dachlinie und zwei T\u00fcren. Im Vergleich zu den \u00fcbrigen Modellen von 1951 war Aurelia in jeder Hinsicht unglaublich fortschrittlich. Im Laufe der Jahre stellte Lancia sechs verschiedene Modellreihen her, die sich alle durch Details, Karosserieformen und mechanische Verbesserungen voneinander unterscheiden. Damals war Lancia ein sehr kleines Unternehmen und hatte nicht die Kapazit\u00e4t, eigene Karosserien zu produzieren, so dass jeder Karosserietyp von einer anderen Carrozzeria hergestellt wurde. Im Vergleich war er teurer als die Chevrolet Corvette oder der Jaguar XK120, aber ein paar Dollar billiger als der Aston Martin DB2. Trotz der begeisterten Kritiken der damaligen Zeitschriftentester beschloss Lancia, die Produktion dieses Modells nach nur anderthalb Jahren auf dem Markt und 241 hergestellten Fahrzeugen einzustellen. Obwohl Lancia den B24 Spider aus Kostengr\u00fcnden einstellte, blieb den Kunden mit dem Lancia B24 Cabrio eine weitere Option, ein konventionellerer, aber ebenso eleganter und wundersch\u00f6ner Roadster.  <strong>Die Unterschiede zwischen dem B24 Spider und dem B24 Cabrio sind haupts\u00e4chlich kosmetischer Natur, und das Cabrio hat andere Sto\u00dfstangen und eine andere Windschutzscheibe.<\/strong>  Er war etwas billiger und verkaufte mehr Exemplare, aber er war nicht der Bestseller, den sich Lancia erhofft hatte. Das B24 Cabriolet wurde von 1956 bis 1958 produziert, und es wurden 521 Fahrzeuge hergestellt.
