Brzy byl nahrazen verz\u00ed 3,6 litru s v\u00fdkonem 320 kon\u00ed jako z\u00e1kladn\u00edm motorem s je\u0161t\u011b lep\u0161\u00edmi hodnotami zrychlen\u00ed.  <strong>Nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed novinkou byl samoz\u0159ejm\u011b mohutn\u00fd model 911 Turbo, kter\u00fd dostal 3,6litrov\u00fd ploch\u00fd \u0161estiv\u00e1lec se dv\u011bma turbodmychadly odvozen\u00fd ze z\u00e1vodn\u00edho motoru Porsche Carrera GT1.<\/strong>  S v\u00fdkonem 420 kon\u00ed u prvn\u00edch model\u016f a 450 kon\u00ed u pozd\u011bj\u0161\u00edch verz\u00ed Turbo S se jednalo o neuv\u011b\u0159iteln\u011b rychl\u00fd v\u016fz, kter\u00fd dok\u00e1zal zrychlit na stovku za 4,0 sekundy.
